Slovakian Prime Minister Shot At 5 Times Point Blank In Failed Assassination Attempt

Robert Fico, the Slovakian Prime Minister, is expected to survive the attempt on his life that unfolded during the early hours of Wednesday. The populist leader was shot multiple times in what is being called a “politically motivated” assassination attempt. The shocking event was captured on video. 

This is a real shock to the whole EU coming after years of tension with the Ukraine and Russian war, which continues to ravage the continent. Russian Leader Vladimir Putin called the attack on Fico a “monstrous crime.”
